Mahamudul Hasan is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where he is advised by Professor Joseph Konstan. His research focuses on Recommender Systems, with a particular emphasis on News Recommender Systems. Before beginning his PhD, Hasan was a Senior Lecturer at East West University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from September 10, 2017, to August 12, 2024. He is currently on study leave. Hasan holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
